This was the final meeting between the two clubs all season with the series tied at 3 wins each.

Brett Meerman scored his 30th goal of the season opening up the scoring for the Bulldogs at 10:31. Assist on the goal to Tyler Wallace. Then 4 minutes later at 14:23 Tyler Wallace banged in a Tanner Willick wraparound rebound to make it 2-0. That is Wallace’s 36th goal of the season assisted by Tanner Willick and Carter Patterson. The Bulldogs had a 5 minute Power Play which the Bulldogs failed to score on. You could see the frustration coming out of a few Oiler players.

At about the 7 minute mark of the second period former Victoria Royal Ty Yoder makes it 4-1 assist from Ryder De Nys who was being loaned to the Oilers from the U18 Airdrie Bisons.

Siedem makes it 5-1. This goal is announced on the website as Siedem from Meerman and Tanner Willick. I remembered Wallace and Loomer being involved with the goal. I was told it was corrected website hasn’t done that yet but it is for sure Wallace and Loomer there. Not like its a big deal I doubt they care a W is W.

Jack Plandowski sniped a great goal at the 10 minute mark of the second period to make it a 6-1 game. Assists on that goal to Kody Willick and Kasey Hiemstra.

Arizona State Commit Connyr Hellyer made it 6-2 on a strange shot that somehow beat Hennessey trickling through, assists on that goal to Zeth Kindrachuk and Sam Huck. The Oilers never gave up .

Seconds later Ryan Neumann scored on a beauty snipe to make it 6-3 from Jagger Tapper and Rylan Brown. Then at 15:23 of the second period, while shorthanded Tyler Wallace skated down the left side of the ice and beat Alex Scheiwiller short side making it 7-3. Jagger Tapper made it 7-4 on the Power Play with assists to Ryan Neumann and Hunter Sawka.
