Only 45 seconds into the contest Brendan Lee opened up the scoring for the Tigers getting his 23rd of the season assisted by Tomas Mrsic and Washington Capitals draft pick Drew Krebs.

At 16:23 of the first period Andrew Basha scored on the Power Play from Oasiz Wiesblatt and Reid Andersen.

Cayden Lindstrom scored his 16th goal of the season on the Power Play from Reid Andresen and Andrew Basha to make it 3-0.

At 4:50 of the third period Kai Uchacz got a strange goal which was just placed on the net. I imagine Tigers goalie Beckett Langkow wishes he could take that one back. Shutouts are none existent for the Tigers this season.

Lee scored his second goal of the game on the empty net to seal the deal for the win and make it 4-1 Tigers.

Other Notes

Rebels next game is Friday February 24th in Red Deer against the Winnipeg Ice.

Attendance at Peavey Mart Centre in Red Deer was 6,072.

Three Stars today were 1)Lindstrom 2) Lee 3) MacKenzie

Medicine Hat forward and Calgary native Andrew Basha played in his 100th career WHL game tonight against Calgary. Kid is only 17 and a late birthday so not draft eligible until next season. He is one of the most entertaining Tigers I have seen this season.

Medicine Hat will be one of the best teams in the CHL in two years if not next year.
