Wow after a loss like that Brett the Hitman Hart should give the team to Hulk Hogan and they should be renamed the Hulksters. After a win like that I literally forgot about last nights game against them🤔
Kai Uchacz opened the scoring up for the Rebels at 3:34 of the first period from Frantisek Formanek and Christoffer Sedoff.
Jhett Larson scored his 16th goal of the season at 10:06 of the first period from a beautiful pass from Ollie Josephson. Other assist on the goal went to Ben King. But theres more!!!! Jhett Larson scored again for the Rebels 3 minutes later with assists going to Jayden Grubbe and Mats Lindgren on the Powerplay. Craig Armstong ended out the period by making it a 4-0 Rebels lead while they were on the Powerplay scoring at 13:50. Assists on the goal to Christoffer Sedoff and Carson Birnie. The Rebels only out shot the Hitmen 15-14 in the first period and the game looked closer than the score appeared. But that all changed when the teams came out for the second period.
Jhett Larson scored his third of the game and 18th of the season on the Powerplay just 1:17 into the second period to make it a 5-0 game. Assist on that goal to Mats Lindgren.
Mats Lindgren scored on the power play again just a minute later. Assists on the goal to Craig Armstrong and Hunter Mayo. 6-0 Rebels.
Jayden Grubbe scored at the 11:20 mark of the second period to make it 7-0. Unassisted. At this time I am looking at the clock thinking about how funny it would be to see them get 13 or 14 goals which at the pace they were going at did not seem too far fetched. Had to wonder if they could score more.
Carson Birnie scored his 8th of the season from Jace Isley at 12:24 of the second period. Later on at about 15:20 of the second period Hunter Mayo fired a rocket of a shot from the point to make it a 9-0 game.
Assists on the goal to Jace Weir and Ollie Josephson.
