Well no more Calgary Canucks this season. It seems like that has been the only team the Bulldogs played the last month. It almost has been the only team the Bulldogs have played all month.
Tanner Willick opened up the scoring for the Bulldogs half way through the first period from Layne Loomer and Jason Siedmen on the Power Play. Willick’s goal was all the scoring in the first period.
Tyler Wallace scored his 6th of the playoffs from Kody Willick at 5;31 of the second period.
Tyler Wallace scored his second of the game and 7th of the playoffs about 5 minutes later from Jayden Joly and David Brandes to make it a 3-1 game.
Canucks pulled their goalie with over 5 minutes remaining. I still do not get think this and think this is way too early for any team to do. Ever. Sure you look like a genius if you score but that is a lot of time for the other team to pop a quick one in and crush any form of momentum your team had. I would never yank the goalie until the 2 minute mark.
Canucks Cale Sanders scored from Ty Hipkin and Justin Barker on the PP with 15:18 left with their net empty. So the Canucks sort of looked like their idea wasn’t that bad of one and they pulled the game within 3. But I still wouldn’t of pulled my goalie
It was inevitable to happen, especially when you have no goalie in the net, so Brendan Ross scored short handed with 16:13 remaining in the game from Jake Geraci on the empty net.
