If the Bulldogs ever wanted to steal a game on the road especially in Brooks against the Bandits tonight would of been the night to do it. Not only did the Bandits play horrible the refs even though they missed alot were handing out power plays to the Bulldogs like Ottawa prints money. Mikhail Simchuk scored for the Bandits just 2:46 into the game. It was a nice goal he just walked in. He could of been stopped he was just more fun to watch skate in and score I guess🙄 That made it 1-0 with assists on the goal to Tyler Blocha and fellow Ukranian Danylo Korzhyletskyi. At 9:15 of the first period Providence College commit Hudson Malinoski makes it 2-0. It was a nice goal too. He was all alone in front of the net for a long time. He could of set up a campfire and had a picnic he had so much time there. But he decided to score instead. assists on the goal to Aiden Fink and Aiden Celebrini. Aiden Fink blatantly cross checked someone after the whistle, no call. Almost like the ref was scared to call him on it. lol.
Connor Dick scored his 5th of the playoffs to make it a 2-1 game at 15:20 of the first period with the assist on the goal to Carter Patterson. This was Dick’s first game back since his horses@$% suspension. There is a suspension that occurs later in this game that should get reviewed too. If Dick missed 3 games this kid might miss 30 if its reviewed by the same people. I’ll mention it later.
Towards the end of the first the Bulldogs seemed to be helping to Finks NHL draft clips for scouts. That or they have been taking note on my defence skills that I use in basement floor hockey against my 8 year old nephew. You know when you let the puck go between your legs, let guys purposely walk around you, and basically just do everything wrong. At 11:06 of the second period Sam Court hit Brendan Ross from behind. Bad. I am no rocket scientist but if Dick got 3 games this one should get alot more. And I mean alot more.
Then Caelen Fitzpatrick scored his 5th of the post season shorthanded and unassisted at 11:52 of the second period. 😲They let and watched him 🙄 Then wasted that whole powerplay, you would of thought Brooks was on the powerplay. I would also like to note that in this game this hands down the worst I have ever seen Brooks play also. The Wisconsin Lumberjacks of the SIJHL would of beat both teams with the effort that they displayed last night. Incase you do not know who the Lumberjacks are here is a link.
If it wasn’t enough to have 1 2 minute power play blown, why not blow 2?🤷♂️ Now on the power play again with 6 minutes left. Which they managed a shot at best. The Olds Grizzlys grandmothers blindfolded and intoxicated with no skates and or equipment would even be hammering Brooks both teams look terrible and not like teams that are playing for a final.
At 5:27 of the third period Hughie Hooker scored with a bullet from the point and made it a 4-1 game. With assists to Sam Court (who should of been suspended in the first place) and Nathan Free.
Then 2 penalties to Brooks. If Bulldogs could have this game handed to them on a silver platter if they could only figure out how to play like normal tonight🙄
Brett Meerman then scored to make the game 4-2 from Jason Siedem and Tyler Wallace while the Bulldogs were on a 5 on 3 Powerplay. The Bulldogs are still on the PP for 1:26 with 5:25 remaining. BUT…….
Brendan Ross then got a penalty was for something like Marchand did to Holl there in the Rainbow league the other night. (Since I could not get good footage of it you guys get Marchand) Eh though thats ok as at 5 minutes left the Bulldogs were pulling the goalie and we all know what happens then. He went back into the net when the Bulldogs got the penalty but still 5 minutes left in a game. 🤔🤔Lets pull our goalie and let them get more goals so we have a larger lead to come back from🤪🤪
But then they pulled him again at almost 3 minutes. This is the dumbest move by far the Bulldogs do and they still DONT GET IT 🤪🤔I would be so mad as a player if I kept seeing this happen and seeing the same result EVERY TIME. This play is about as stupid as drawing a bath stepping in it, plugging in a toaster, and then throwing the plugged in toaster into the bathtub with you and thinking its a good idea. The only good I could possibly see from this idea to signal to the fans that you gave up and plan on losing so they can pack their bags, finish their beer, and get out of the arena early to beat the rush.

Bandits outshot the Bulldogs 36-21. Ethan Barwick made 19 saves for the win. Matthew Hennessey was in net at the other end making 31 stops for the Bulldogs.
Connor Dick was back from suspension and attempted to play well considering he missed the last three games. Too bad his team mates didn’t join him. Just so everyone knows they all played bad compared to what they usually can be like. Every single player on the ice on both teams.
Congratulations also to the Bandits for having a mascot that I assume is not allowed to go along with the team to read to children at schools as he is not permitted around a certain number of feet of playground zones🤔 That mascot gives me the creeps it really does.
The warm ups on hockey tv show the Bandits warming up the whole time. With neat little bios that pop up and tell you something about the players.
Brooks was without a few players one notable was Elliot Dutil who had a good game against the Bulldogs last time. He was like the game changer of that game. I remember that midget French man chirping the bench and the fans in Blackfalds after he scored. Maybe he’s out in Quebec restoring the power?
