The Bandits opened up the scoring at 9:49 of the first period when Wisconsin commit Aiden Fink scored on the Powerplay from Sam “Not Suspended” Court and Dario Beljo. Then at 13:07 Dominick Campione scored on a 2 on 1 with Dario Beljo. The second assist going to Jordan Hughesman. Then less than 40 seconds later at 13:40 of the first period Brooks scores again when Ethan Beyer gets his second of the post season to make it 3-0 from Brendan Poshak. It was a strange angle goal it shocked Hennessey almost as much as it shocked the kid that scored it.
Connor Dick made it 3-1 at 9:34 of the second period from Jason Siedem. Bulldogs actually showed up in the second and outplayed the Bandits HUGE. Bulldogs outshot the Bandits 11-5 in the second period. It was a whole different game once the second period started.
At the 6:55 into the third period Kurt Gurkan made it 3-2 with assists from David Brandes and Brett Meerman.
Then Brooks scored with 3 minutes left to make it 4-2 on virtually their only scoring chance the last 2 periods. Heath Armstrong got his 3rd of the playoffs from Brendan Poshak at 16:46.
If the Bulldogs played a full 60 minutes of even 70% of their capabilities they would of hammered Brooks by at least 8 goals. I am having a hard time trying to figure out how this same Brooks team that beat Okotoks or is even ranked the 1 in the nation. They are having bad games too.
Get ready for Tuesday and Wednesday If the Bulldogs keep the momentum up they will be awesome games. If they decide to show up.

Every time I see the Bandits logo I think of alot of weird things. I also think of a guy wearing a covid mask. You know the more you really look at it, it appears to be none other than Justin Trudeau in that there logo wearing a covid mask. Its a hidden satanic message I knew it.
I cant say it enough naming your team “The Bandits” is just a bad life choice, no offence.
