The Whitecourt Wolverines have never got a win against the Blackfalds Bulldogs since the Bulldogs entered the league until tonight.

It gets really awesome when this pops up right after a player releases a shot.

This was a very annoying game to watch on Flohokey TV. The announcers were great (once the sound was un muffled) I really have to hand it to the play by play guys that did the radio. But the camera kept cutting out really bad. It was terrible last time they played Whitecourt also. I have checked other games in Whitecourt and it is always bad feeds from the camera. To the point if you are going to purchase Flohockey just for the Wolverines do not bother. Just listen to the radio guys and use your imagination. I will personally go down to the hardware store, spend the $4.99 on the video cord, go across the street to the Blackfalds post office and pay the $1.00 postage and mail the video cord to them if needed.

Colby Browne opens up the scoring for the Wolverines at 9:52 of the first period with the assist on the goal to Scottsdale, Arizona native Jack Franklin. Colby Browne was the Wolverine that scored both Whitecourt’s goals when they lost to the Bulldogs last month.

Bulldogs outshot the Wolverines in the first period 12-8

Keep getting deck link video errors again alot like every minute for about 10 seconds at a time very annoying to watch.

Bulldogs outshot the Wolverine 11-7 in the second period.

Edward Moskowitz appeared to have a knee injury in the third period. Never seen what happened but he was carried off the ice. Hoping its just a bruise.

6’3 Kelowna native 19 year old Jarred Feist makes it 2-0 at 16:32 of the third period. With the assists on the goal going to Beaverlodge, Alberta native Spencer Rheame and Former North Battleford North Star Xavier Lacoste.

Bulldogs pulled Morrow for the extra attacker with 2:13 left in the third period

Then with 2 seconds left knowing they probably couldn’t win the Bulldogs let Travis Verbeek have his make a wish goal in the empty net to make it 3-0. Participation medals on the goal went to Joey Melo and Jack Franklin.

Aurora, Ontario native Ben Charette stopped all 36 shots that he faced for the shutout and the win. Ethan Morrow stopped 18 of the 20 shots that he faced for the Bulldogs.

I still haven’t checked who they gave the three stars to. 1) is clear cut Charette. They gave him the star for the Wolverines on the AJHL website and the star for the Bulldogs to Tanner Willick.

Attendance in Whitecourt was 594

Bulldogs next game is Sunday November 12th at 2pm in Grande Prairie against the Storm.
