In an intense showdown lasting 59 minutes and 39.6 seconds, the Brandon Wheat Kings and Red Deer Rebels engaged in a rapid, hard-hitting, and goalless spectacle like a soccer game⚽. Yet, in the waning moments, the Rebels dashed the Wheat Kings’ hopes of securing any points.

Scoreless games bore the crap out of me. They may be interesting if you are the goalies mom but other than that.🤷‍♂️

Ollie Josephson playing in his 90th game in the WHL scores his third goal of the season to make it a 1-0 game with 19 seconds left. With the assists on the goal to Kai Uchacz and Jhett Larson.

The Wheat Kings pulled their goalie but Kai Uchacz scores on the backhand in the empty net 8 seconds later with the assist going to Matteo Fabrizi. The Rebels although out shot in the first period of play 9-6 outshot the Rebels all game 31-25.

Rhett Stoesser stopped all 25 shots that he faced for the win and the shut out. While Ethan Eskit also played well in the other end for Brandon making 29 stops on the 30 shots that he faced.
