I still can not get over the fact that the Americans dressed 3 goalies for this exhibition game. 2 were on the bench. Also just as strange to see Canada playing the US in a pre tournament game. Canada also added D man Jorian Donovan back a late cut from camp. Donovan flew in last night and was only in Sweden for 5 hours prior to the game. Kid must be jet lagged.

Canada scores a goal on the Power Play. It appeared on TV that it hit a US player when Celebrini shot it. The announcers thought that Celebrini got it as did I. Yet the hockey Canada site says Dumais from Celebrini. Either way the game is now 5-4.

Player game for the US was Ryan Leonard and Player of the game for Canada was Jorian Donovan. I think Donovan may be on the team to start the tournament and Molendyk will be sent back due to his injury. I like the other authors here are bias towards WHL kids. But Molendyk is hurt, he is only 18 and has another year, it is probably better to keep Donovan. I am making a prediction now that Molendyk is sent back and has a big play off run with Saskatoon. Then makes this WJC next year and is a star and is traded from Saskatoon after his return.
