Ollie Josephson gave the Rebels the lead just 28 seconds into the second period to make it 2-1 Rebels with the assists on the goal to Talon Brigley and Kalan Lind.-The game went back and forth, with Josephson taking a pass from Kalan Lind and sweeping wide before slipping the puck past Keiper for a 2-1 Red Deer lead 28 seconds into the second period.
2022 New Jersey Devils 6th rounder Josh Filmon makes the game 2-2 when he scored at the 5 minute mark of the middle frame. Assists on the goal went to 2022 Pittsburgh Penguins first rounder Owen Pickering and former Brandon Wheat King Zach Turner.– Filmon replied with an equalizer at the five-minute mark of the frame, beating goaltender Rhett Stoesser with a one-timer from the right circle.

Brady Birnie made it 3-2 for the Broncos at 9:04 of the third period with the assists going to Grayson Burzynski and Owen Pickering.-the Broncos assumed their only lead of the game when Brady Birnie scored from a scramble at 9:04 of the third period.
Kai Uchacz ties the game up at 3 getting his 21st goal of the season. The assists on the goal went to Kalan Lind and Hunter Mayo at 14:10 of the third.– Uchacz pulled the Rebels even at 14:10 of the third period, hauling in a pass from Hunter Mayo and ripping a power play one-timer from the top of the right circle.
Carson Birnie gave the Rebels the lead and made the game 4-3 at 16:41 of the third with the assist on the goal going to Talon Brigley.–Then, just under three minutes later, Carson Birnie was left alone in front and buried a corner pass from Talon Brigley.
Josh Filmon tied the game up for the Broncos with only 18 seconds remaining in the game to send this one into overtime. The assists on the goal went to Rylan Gould and Clarke Caswell. They scored with their goalie on the bench and the extra attacker on the ice too.

Kai Uchacz scored the winner just 58 seconds into overtime with the assist on the goal going to Ollie Josephson.–The Rebels captain was stoned by Broncos goalie Matthew Kieper after accepting a perfect two-on-feed from Ollie Josephson, but just seconds later he circled at the blueline, cut wide around a defenceman, cruised to the net and flipped the puck into the top of the net.
The Rebels outshot the Broncos 48-26 in the game. Rhett Stoesser made 22 saves on the 26 shots that he faced for the win for the Rebels. While Matthew Kieper made 43 saves on the 48 shots he faced for the Broncos in a busy night for the Winnipeg native.
