Oasiz Wiesblatt tied the game up at 10:57 of the first period for the Tigers with the assist going to Reid Andresen.- The Tigers pulled even just past the midway point of the period as Oasiz Wiesblatt carried the puck over the blueline, cut to the middle and beat goaltender Rhett Stoesser high to the blocker side.
Carson Birnie gave the Rebels the lead at 15:12 of the first period with the assists on the goal to Talon Brigley and Kai Uchacz.– Red Deer’s lead at the 15:12 mark of the first. The second year forward took a pass from Talon Brigley on a two-on-one break, fought off a check and scored short side.
Shots on goal in the first period were 12 to 10 for the Tigers.
Gavin McKenna tied the game up at 2 just 15 seconds into the second period on the Power Play from Evan May.–Gavin McKenna replied for the Tigers with a power play marker just 15 seconds into the second period, his shot from the left circle finding the far side of the net.
Jhett Larson scored to put the Rebels back in the lead at 6:01 of the second from Frantisek Formanek.– But Larson scored another go-ahead goal six minutes later. He won a battle in the Tigers zone and the puck came back to Frantisek Formanek who in turn forwarded it to Larson, who then picked the top corner from close range.
Kadon McCann tied it back up for the Tigers at 16:24 of the middle frame. The assist on the goal went to Reid Andresen.–The Tigers knotted the score at 3-3 late in the middle stanza when Kadon McCann buried a rebound from the edge of the crease

The assist on the goal went to Frantisek Formanek.– Larson’s hat trick goal at 13:31 of the final frame proved to be the winner. The speedy fourth year Rebels forward beat netminder Evan May with a quick release from the top of the right circle, shooting the puck through the legs of a Tigers defenceman.
Carson Birnie scored his second goal of the game at 17:58 of the final period to give the Rebels some insurance and a 5-3 lead to end the game. The assists on the goal went to Talon Brigley and Ollie Josephson.
Rhett Stoesser made 22 saves on the 25 shots that he faced for the win for the Rebels. While Medicine Hat netminder Evan May made 25 saves on the 30 shots that he faced.
