In an awesome development for the players, the fans, and the community the Blackfalds Bulldogs have officially finalized their transfer to the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) and have announced their much-anticipated schedule for the upcoming season.

The Bulldogs’ new schedule will be an exciting one, with games against some of the old league’s top teams (actually its all their top teams). The season will kick off with a home opener against the Okotoks Oilers on Friday February 2nd, followed by a series of exciting matchups against the Brooks Bandits, Spruce Grove Saints, and Sherwood Park Crusaders.
Well, it’s hard to say whether the move to the BCHL will be better for the Blackfalds Bulldogs, but there are certainly some potential benefits. For one, the BCHL is known for its high level of competition, which could help the Bulldogs improve their skills and overall performance. Plus, the league’s focus on NCAA opportunities might attract more talented players to the team. I really can not think of a positive of staying with Hockey Canada, who defends sex offenders. None. Maybe the AJHL doesn’t want to part away for something unseen to the normal eye.

WHAT A BUNCH OF DOUCHEBAGS

I feel for the players. The league being douchey will affect them in the long run. The negative image the AJHL suffered from this was bad.
