Canada dominated Switzerland with an impressive 8-1 victory, securing the top spot in Group B. The star of the game was Porter Martone, who netted a hat trick, while Gavin McKenna continued his stellar performance with another three-point game. Brandon Wheat Kings Roger McQueen is out injury for the rest of the tournament. Calgary Hitmen’s Carson Wetsch had to miss the game also due to suspension.

Mississauga Steelheads netminder Ryerson Leenders made 26 saves on the 27 shots that he faced for Canada for the win. University of Massachusetts commit Christian Kirsch made 15 saves on the 21 shots that he faced. He was replaced in the second period by Phileas Lachat who made 11 saves on the 13 shots that he faced.
