Wish there was more online about the exhibition games. It is always hard especially exhibition and especially in Europe.

Canada defeated Hungary 4-0 in an exhibition game earlier today. I really hope they were playing nice. You would think it would be alot higher than 4-0 against a hockey hot bed like Hungary. The internet is more in a buzz bitching about Dubois getting added and them losing Celebrini. Hockey Canada does very stupid decisions. This was definitely one of them. No one cares about this tournament really. At least the Canadian fans for that matter. They want to see Celebrini and Fantilli and most would rather lose with them than win with PLD. Not a player who complained and got traded and since then has been mediocre at best.

Game Summary

Colton Paryako makes it 1-0 from Ridly Greig and Andrew Mangipane at 2:13 of the first period
Bowen Byram from Connor Bedard and Michael Bunting at 6:12 of the second
Owen Power goal from Andrew Mangipane and Dylan Guenther to make it 3-0 at 18:08 of the second
Macklin Celebrini (Vancouver, BC/Boston University, HE) and Adam Fantilli (Nobleton, ON/Columbus, NHL) will not participate in the 2024 IIHF World Championship. Celebrini will return to North America to attend the NHL Draft Lottery and prepare for the NHL Combine, while Fantilli, who recently returned from injury, will also return home to focus on preparing for the 2024-25 season.

Macklin Celebrini and Adam Fantilli got sent home so PL Dubois could be added to the team.🙄 He might request a trade off the Canadian team so he can play for Quebec.🤪 That is actually a really big piss off as Celebrini was almost the main reason I wanted to watch this bush league tournament. It is good hockey, but a story a former player told me about going to it years ago in Riga, Latvia he made it sound like a party. He told me his liver hurt when he came back.🤪
