It is June 1st and there is still junior hockey going on. It has been a very long season for Brooks considering they went to Sweden at the beginning of the season in August. LINK. The Bandits beat the Eagles 4-1 in Game 2 to win the Rocky Mountain Challenge in Brooks. Lots of people are still confused on this series to an extent. Does this mean that Brooks are this years BCHL Champions or will this series go down with an asterisk next to it?

In No Way am I saying Brooks did not deserve to win that series, but I will say the effort that appeared to come from the Surrey Eagles looked very minimal. I have seen more effort from people picking up garbage for community service than I did from the Eagles. Like they didn’t want to be there at all and or were just exhausted and wanted the season to end. The series almost reminded me of that South Park episode where all the kids wanted to lose in little league so they could go home and not play anymore.
