A total of 22 players have been selected for Canada’s National Men’s Summer Under-18 Team, aiming to defend their gold medal in the 2024 Hlinka Gretzky Cup from August 5-10 in Edmonton, Alberta. The team consists of two goaltenders, seven defencemen, and 13 forwards, with five players having previously won gold at the 2024 IIHF U18 World Championship, and 17 having participated in the 2023 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge. The team will face Switzerland, Slovakia, and Sweden in the preliminary round, with the tournament concluding on August 10.
