For the fourth time this season, the Red Deer Rebels defeated the Medicine Hat Tigers 4-2 on Friday night at the Peavey Mart Centrium. I along with many thought the whole WHL season would be a write off and that they should of just handed the Cup to the Tigers at the start of the season. I mean on paper they looked so stacked and sick it almost looked unfair.
Jhett Larson scored his third goal of the season just 57 seconds into the game to give the Rebels the 1-0 lead. Assist on the goal went to Samuel Drancak.
Calgary Flames prospect Andrew Basha got the Tigers on the board on the Power Play at 9:20 of the first period. Assists on the goal went to Gavin McKenna and former Seattle Thunderbird Bryce Pickford.
Oasiz Weisblatt gave the Tigers the lead at 13:48 of the first period to make it 2-1 with the assists on the goal going to Gavin McKenna and Bryce Pickford again.

Jaxon Fuder scored his second goal of the season on the Power Play to tie the game up at 2. The assists on the goal went to Carson Birnie and Talon Brigley at 10:59 of the second frame.
