The Bulldogs made a trade shipping 20 year old D man James Johnson to the Nanaimo Clippers in exchange for D man Braydan Smith.
Johnson who is from Ajax, Ontario played in 35 games for the Bulldogs over 2 seasons collecting 0 goals and 15 assists. He is committed to UMass-Lowell.
Smith a 6’4 172 lb D man is a 2005 born who hails from Prince Albert, Saskatchewan and split time with Victoria and Nanaimo of the BCHL this season. Last season he played with the Des Moines Buccaneers of the USHL. The season prior he played with the Trail Smoke Eaters of the BCHL.
Aidan Castle was also traded to the Trail Smoke Eaters today for future considerations which means nothing will come back like usual. By the sound of it he wanted to go and asked for his release over a month ago.
