The Canadian Hockey League (CHL) has unveiled the Team CHL roster for the inaugural 2024 CHL USA Prospects Challenge, presented by Kubota Canada, where top 2025 NHL Draft-eligible players from the WHL, OHL, and QMJHL will compete against USA Hockey’s NTDP Under-18 Team across two games in London and Oshawa. Selected by CHL coaches Kris Mallette, Gordie Dwyer, Ryan Oulahen, and GM Dave Brown, the 22 players include forwards like Michael Misa and Porter Martone and defenders such as Matthew Schaefer and Jackson Smith, both gold medalists from the 2024 Hlinka Gretzky Cup. The goaltending duo consists of Jack Ivankovic and Joshua Ravensbergen, both showing impressive stats in the OHL and WHL respectively. This event, spotlighting 19 different CHL teams, not only showcases potential NHL draftees but also continues the storied rivalry between Canadian and American hockey prospects.
