What seemed like virtually a whole new Bulldogs team hit the ice Friday night in Okotoks. The Bulldogs just gave the Oilers 4 goals off the bat. The Bulldogs played so horribly bad that I didn’t really pay too much attention to the game. I started playing Mahjong tiles on the computer as that was way more interesting to watch than the gong show on the TV of most guys I have never heard of. So I played the game. Then I played some scrabble. Good times.

Shots in the first period were 12-6 for the Oilers.

Newly acquired Holy Cross Commit Matthew Croxall gets the Bulldogs on the board at 2:19 of the second period with the assists on the goal going to Jared Langdon and Tyler Chiovetti.

Antoine Gauthier buries on the breakaway and Blackfalds has two in 34 seconds to cut the lead in half. The goal came at 2:53 of the second period and the assist went to Ryan Shaw. And that was enough offensive output for the Bulldogs for the night and they took the rest of it off.

Shots in the second were 16-11 for the Bulldogs

Another boring period back to games. This time Puckducko. Besides Ronn somewhat trying to get a guy to fight another boring period to watch. It sucks to watch. I don’t mind watching a losing team, lets just lose with the same guys. Go over to Facebook and read the comments, fans are not happy.

Shots in the third period were 15-5 for the Oilers. The Oilers outshot the Bulldogs 38-27 in the game.

Olivier Ciarlo made 25 saves on the 27 shots that he faced for the win for the Oilers. For the Bulldogs Waylon Esche made 7 saves on the 11 shots he got no help on in the first 14 minutes of the game before being replaced by Dylan Adams. Adams then made 24 saves on the 27 shots that he faced.

Three Stars of the game were 1) Brayden Duy 2) Michael Kowalski 3) Bowen Burke

Attendance in Okotoks was 931

Bulldogs next game is Saturday November 30th against the Cranbrook Bucks for the Teddy Bear Toss.

Brooks lost to Surrey with the game being decided by a penalty shot, Sherwood park hammered Cranbrook 10-2.
