It Was Three games in three nights came to an end Sunday for the Red Deer Rebels with a 6-1 loss to the Calgary Hitmen.

Ottawa Senators 2024 7th overall pick Carter Yakemchuk got the Hitmen on the board at 7:32 of the first period while on the Power Play as he teed up a blast from the point. The assists on the goal went to Sawyer Mynio and Ben Kindel.

Shots on goal in the first period were 11-8 for the Hitmen.

Former Regina Pat and Pittsburgh Penguin 2024 second rounder Tanner Howe made it a 2-0 Hitmen game at 6:52 of the second period. Assists on the goal went to Oliver Tulk and Dax Williams.

Samuel Drancak got the Rebels on the board at 13:32 of the second period. The assist on the goal went to Brett Calhoon.

Former Seattle Thunderbird newly acquired Sawyer Mynio made it a 3-1 game when he scored on the Power Play at 15:50 of the second period. The assists on the goal went to Ben Kindel and Carter Yakemchuk.

Burnaby native David Adaszynski makes it a 4-1 game at 17:59 of the second period with the assists on the goal going to Ethan Moore and Carson Birnie.

Shots on goal in the second period were 15-6 for the Hitmen

Oliver Tulk made it a 5-1 game when he scored his 26th goal of the season at 7:08 of the third period with the assists on the goal going to Ben Kindel and Tanner Howe.

Connor Hvidston makes it a 6-1 game on the Power Play at 11:52 of the third period with the assists on the goal going to Sawyer Mynio and Carter Yakemchuk.

Shots on goal in the third period were 8-4 for the Hitmen. The Hitmen outshot the Rebels 34-18 in the game.

Anchorage, Alaska native Anders Miller made 17 stops on the 18 shots that he faced for the win for the Hitmen. For the Rebels Chase Wutzke stopped 28 of the 34 shots that he faced.
