The Bulldogs beat the Crusaders 3-2 on Saturday night in Blackfalds on ladies night. All 3 of the goals that the Bulldogs scored had a former Crusader player involved, along with Luke Dahlen.

Luke Norcross opened up the scoring against his former team just 1:34 into the first period to make it a 1-0 Bulldogs game. The assists on the goal went to Luke Dahlen and Joey Melo. I have said it before but did the Crusaders ever get fleeced in this trade.

Jeremy Loranger tied the game up for the Crusaders at 4:21 of the first period. The assists on the goal went to Tait Ross and Jude Bray

Jeremy Loranger makes it a 2-1 game on the Power Play at 15:30 of the first period. The assists on the goal went to Kale Dach and John Alex Banks

Shots on goal in the first period were 10-9 for the Bulldogs

Thomas Neu tied the game up 21 seconds into the second frame with the assists on the goal going to Nicholas DiPaolo and Luke Dahlen.

Luke Norcross scored his second goal of the game to make it 3-2 at 6:07 of the second period. The assist on the goal went to Luke Dahlen.

Shots on goal in the second period were 13-5 for the Crusaders

Shots on goal in the third period were 14-6 for the Crusaders

Kirill Kapustin made 34 saves on the 36 shots that he faced for the win for the Bulldogs. For the Crusaders James Venne made 18 saves on the 21 shots that he faced.

Attendance in Blackfalds was 590 (again seemed like alot more)

Bulldogs next game is Friday March 7th against the Vernon Vipers in Blackfalds
