On Friday night, the Tigers traveled to Red Deer to face off against the Rebels in their seventh clash of the season. The Rebels have dominated the series so far, leading with four wins to the Tigers’ two. With just two points at stake, the game is crucial for both teams—the Tigers are pushing to claim the top position in the conference, while the Rebels are desperate to cling to their fading playoff dreams.

It took just 1:26 for Ryder Ritchie to make it a 1-0 game for the Tigers with the assists on the goal going to Medicine Hat native Josh Van Mulligan and Misha Volotovskii who hails from Calgary. Even though the name Misha may look like a Russian or Polish import he is from Calgary.

Liam Ruck tipped in a shot on the Power Play to make it a 3-0 game with the helpers on the goal going to Gavin McKenna and Oasiz Weisblatt.

Shots on goal in the first period were 13-8 for the Tigers.

Ryder Ritchie got his second goal of the game and 27th of the season unassisted at 3:10 of the second period.

Nolan Schmidt got his third goal of the season at 4:34 of the second period to make it a 4-0 game. The assist on the goal went to Gleb Semenov.Red Deer’s lone goal came a few minutes later when rookie Nolan Schmidt banked one in off Meneghin for his third goal of the season.

Assistant Captain and 2024 Florida Panthers 6th rounder Hunter St. Martin got his 37th goal of the season at 9:50 of the second period to make it a 5-1 Tigers game with the assist going to Gavin McKenna.

Shots on goal in the second period were 9-8 for the Tigers.

Gavin McKenna scored his 33rd goal of the season on the Power Play to make it a 6-1 Tigers game at 16:41 of the third period. The assists on the goal went to Ryder Ritchie and former Kelowna Rocket Marcus Pacheco.

Minnesota Wild 2024 second round pick Ryder Ritchie completed the hat trick at 18:05 of the third period to make it a 7-1 game for the Tigers. The assists on the goal went to Gavin McKenna and Oasiz Weisblatt.

Shots on goal in the third period were 14-7 for the Rebels. The Rebels outshot the Tigers in the game 30-29.

20 year old former Lethbridge Hurricane and Tampa Bay Lightning draft pick Harrison Meneghin made 29 saves on the 30 shots that he faced for the win for the Tigers. For the Rebels Peyton Shore made 22 saves on the 29 shots that he faced.
