The Rebels fell 7-3 in Medicine Hat on Saturday night. Matthew Gard had a pair of goals for the Rebels and Gavin McKenna had a 7 point night for the Tigers. McKenna passed Sidney Crosby for the second longest point streak in the CHL since 2001 at 38 games. He had 20 points in eight games versus Red Deer this season (4 goals, 16 assists). The CHL record scoring streak since 2000 belongs to Alexander Radulov of the Quebec Remparts, who logged a 50-game point streak in 2005-06.

Nashville Predators first rounder and former Saskatoon Blade Tanner Molendyk gets the Tigers on the board first at 8:18 of the first period. The assists on the goal went to Gavin McKenna and Oasiz Wiesblatt.

Matthew Gard tied the game up at 13:36 of the first tipping one through the 5 hole with the assists on the goal going to Jake Missura and Doogan Pederson.

2026 projected first overall pick Gavin McKenna got the Tigers the lead at 15:19 of the first period with the helpers on the goal going to Captain Oasiz Weisblatt and Minnesota Wild 2024 second rounder Ryder Ritchie.

Oasiz Weisblatt made it a 3-1 game for the Tigers at 17:25 of the first period with the assists going to Gavin McKenna and Medicine Hat native Josh Van Mulligan.

Gavin McKenna completed the hat trick shorthanded at 13:03 of the second period. The assist on the goal went to Norther Michigan commit 20 year old Matthew Ward.

Matthew Gard got his second goal of the night and 18th of the season at 16:38 of the second period when he tipped in a Jaxon Fuder shot.

Shots on goal in the second period were 9-8 for the Rebels

Oasiz Weisblatt got his second goal of the night at 15:27 of the third period while on the Power Play. The helpers on the goal went to Liam Ruck and Gavin McKenna.

Oasiz Weisblatt completed the hat trick goal being his 36th of the season while on the Power Play at 18:21 of the third period. The assists on the goal went to Gavin McKenna and Bryce Pickford.

Shots on goal in the third period were 12-9 for the Rebels. The Rebels outshot the Tigers in the game 31-26.

20 year old Tampa Bay Lightning draft pick Harrison Meneghin made 28 saves on the 31 shots that he faced for the Tigers. For the Rebels Peyton Shore made 19 saves on the 26 shots that he faced.
