
The Bulldogs are now 4-0 in preseason play. Defeating the Spruce Grove Saints last night by a score of 7-2 all while wearing their C3P0 Helmets.

Thomas Neu opened up the scoring for the Bulldogs blasting one on the short side past Saints netminder Joseph Quintillo making the score 1-0 at 4:16 of the first period. The helpers on the goal went to the Ukrainian guy Nikita Ivashchenko and Luke Dahlen
California native Max Holland ties up the game for the Saints after a great shot to make the game 1-1 at 6:24 of the first period. The assist on the goal went to Winnipeg native Brandon Funk.
Former Olds Grizzly Jadon Iyogun gives the Saints the lead at 12:18 of the first period. The helpers on the goal went to Seymour, Connecticut Michael Azzarone and Long Beach, California native Brady Witkin.
Shots on goal in the first period were 12-9 for the Saints.

Nikita Ivashchenko ties the game up for the Bulldogs after a onehanded pass from Luke Dahlen at 5:59 of the second period. The other assist went to Joey Melo.

Before the announcer could even announce the Ukrainian guys goal Jared Langdon potted his first of the preseason at 6:19 of the second period to give the Bulldogs a 3-2 lead. The assists on the goal went to returnees Austin Borggaard and Antoine Gauthier.

Chance Tennessee Adams makes it a 4-2 game tucking in a rebound at 11:34 of the second period with the assists on the goal going to Thomas Neu and Declan Bowmaster.

Tanner Nettleton makes it a 5-2 game for the Bulldogs at 13:01 of the second frame. The assists on the goal went to Antoine Gauthier and Austin Borggaard.
Shots on goal in the second period were 9-5 for the Bulldogs.

Austin Borggaard scored on a breakaway to make it a 6-2 game at 8:50 of the third period. He also made it look super easy to do also. The assists on the goal went to Liam Hoff and Thomas Neu.

Antoine Gauthier makes it a 7-2 game unassisted at 9:53 of the third period.
Shots on goal in the third period were 18-9 for the Saints. The Saints outshot the Bulldogs in the game 35-27.
Brady Smith made 33 saves on the 35 shots that he faced for the win for the Bulldogs. For the Saints Joseph Quintilio made 20 saves on the 27 shots that he faced. The shot numbers are a bit fooling as the Saints looked massively outplayed all game.
