Bjork who has looked super improved from last season and Chiovetti whom most were under the presumption that he moved on, got cut, or just left, were traded to the Vipers for a player development fee. Like cash? Why its not like the Bulldogs are strapped for cash or anything🙄. The Bjork factor could be part of the amount of imports allowed. Not seeing Chiovetti, Ronn, & Gauthier on the opening night roster made me scratch my head a bit also.

Vernon, BC:  The Vernon Vipers have announced the acquisition of 2006-born defenseman Oscar Bjork and the BCHL playing rights to 2006-born forward Tyler Chiovetti from the Blackfalds Bulldogs in exchange for Player Development Fees.

Head Coach and GM Matt Cooke commented on the additions:
“We’re excited to bring Oscar and Tyler into the Vipers family. Both players bring size, skill, a strong work ethic and BCHL experience that will help elevate our team this season.”

Oscar Bjork, from Bastad, Sweden, is a 6’4”, 195-pound left-handed defenseman. Last season with the Bulldogs, Bjork was a key contributor on the blueline, appearing in 40 games and recording 1 goal and 8 assists.

Tyler Chiovetti, from Redondo Beach, California, had a standout rookie campaign. In 50 games, the speedy forward tallied 7 goals and 11 assists, showcasing his offensive potential. LINK
