Team Canada Captain and Soo Greyhound Brady Martin got a goal and 2 assists in Canada’s 8-3 loss to the Swedes in pre tournament play Monday. The Canadians went 1-1 in their 2 exhibition games. Not being all negative but with a few key players missing, especially McKenna and Misa this looks like a tournament as a Canadian fan to be as about excited for as the World Juniors. I can not see them doing that well here.

Last year it was just as impossible to get good reports on the Pre Tournament games also. Canada opens up the tournament on April 24th against Team Slovakia.

Shots on goal in the first period were 11-5 for Sweden

Shots on goal in the second period were 15-4 for Sweden.

Shots on goal in the third period were 18-12 for Canada. The Swedes however outshot Canada 38-27 in the game.
