
Bulldogs looked very sluggish last Saturday night. About as sluggish as the media in reporting on this (which they didn’t hence the lateness). No video highlights just a blah post.
Tuuka Heiskanen made it a 1-0 game for Powell River on the Power Play at 1:27 of the first period. The assists on the goal went to Michael Mikan and Marek Beaudoin.
Jackson Schaefer gives the Kings a 2-0 lead on the Power Play at 11:36 of the first period with the assists on the goal going to Jordan Tran and Grady Schaefer.
Shots on goal in the first period were 11-5 for Powell River
Michael Mikan makes it a 3-0 game with his second goal of the season on the Power Play at 12:42 of the second period. The assists on the goal went to Joseph Gugino and Tuuka Heiskanen.

John Kartsonaskis breaks the shutout at 15:12 of the first period with a strange angle shot to beat Vavro. The assist on the goal went to Shayle Simons.
Leon Brunn gets his third goal of the season to make it a 4-2 game at 19:02 of the third period. The assists on the goal went to Dean Toskos and Henry Kress.
Shots on goal in the third period were 10-7 for the Kings. The Kings outshot the Bulldogs 29-14 in the game.
Filip Vavro stopped 12 of the 14 shots he faced for the win for the Kings. For the Bulldogs Oliver Kiraly stopped 25 of the 29 shots that he faced.
