The Bulldogs won their 10th game in a row Friday in Camrose on Jayden Joly’s birthday. They are also tied with the Brooks Bandits for first overall in the Alberta Junior Hockey League. It looks strange seeing Charlie Zolin in a red Kodiaks jersey.

Had to listen to the first half of the first period on Mixlr. On flohockeytv the only AJHL game that was airing was Brooks. No other ones came on.

Dakota MacIntosh scores tipping in a point shot from Scott Stevens, I mean Matt Hanscom and Brendan Ross 1:15 into game.

The Kodiaks tied the game up at 12:20 when Keremeos, BC native Levi Carter got the rebound on a Lucas Lemieux shot with the other assist going to Ethan Short.

Bowen Grycan gave the Kodiaks the ahead at 14:46 with assists to Owen Lansing and veteran Spruce Grove native Ty Hodge. Right as the Kodiaks were celebrating the goal the tv signal finally comes through.

Bulldogs tied it up with only 39 seconds left in the first period with Connor Dick getting his second goal of the season. Dick scored the goal as he was getting tripped up while cutting across the high slot. Assist on the goal to Carter Patterson.

Right before the period ended Tanner Willick and Myles Gauld got into a scuffle. That shouldn’t be an ejection. They each got 5 and a game. Suspensions like that should be concerning it will push to eliminate other things. I personally would be embarrassed if I even thought of trying to fight or even body check if I was wearing a full cage when I wasn’t forced to. Just saying. The Kodiaks outshot the Bulldogs 10-6 in the first period.

Camrose local Owen Lansing scored making it 3-2 Kodiaks 54 seconds into the second period with the assists to Carson Brisson and Ethan Short.

Dakota MacIntosh ties the game up at 3 each with the assists to David Brandes and Carter Patterson at 7:46. Thats MacIntosh’s second goal of the game. Bulldogs outshot the Kodiaks in the second period 13-9.

Hunter Brown scored his 4th goal of the season from the high circles 45 seconds into the third period. If that would of been in Blackfalds that would of been a Piccolo’s hot minute. Assists on the goal to Edward Moskowitz and Alexander Dimitriadis.

Hunter Brown scored his second goal of the game and 5th of the season from Alexander Dimitriadis and Edward Moskowitz at 8:31.

MacInotsh had the whole open net I thought he would score the announcers thought he scored also😆. Would of been a hat trick. Hunter Browns close to one also. That is something they need to do in Blackfalds people have to start bringing hats just for this sole reason. I am guilty for never having one but I am going to start bringing one it seems to occur quite frequently this season.

Alexander Dimitriadis scored on the empty net to make it 6-3 Bulldogs and insure the win with 58 seconds remaining.

In the third period the Bulldogs outshot the Kodiaks 8-4 and then outshooting them 28-22 in the game. Wilson Maxfield stopped 18 of the 21 shots that he faced for his 6th win of the season. Former Bulldogs Charlie Zolin made 23 saves in the other end for the Kodiaks.

The AJHL Website stars of the game were Hunter Brown from Blackfalds and Owen Lansing for Camrose. The Three Stars named from Blackfalds were 1) Hunter Brown 2) Dakota MacIntosh 3) Owen Lansing.

Bulldogs next game is Saturday October 21st in Blackfalds against the Spruce Grove Saints. A team they have failed to beat since moving to Blackfalds.

Jacob Dennis and Jack DesRuisseaux were not on the game day roster sheet🤔
