I can not say that I am not surprised. It was great having him in Blackfalds. I mean there is a chance he could come back, maybe🤷‍♂️ never read anything otherwise. But lets be realistic we all know he is going to kick ass in Moose Jaw.

“The Moose Jaw Warriors have exciting news to share as they officially welcome 19-year-old forward Dakota MacIntosh to their ranks through a WHL Scholarship and Development Agreement.

In expressing his enthusiasm about this acquisition, Warriors general manager Jason Ripplinger commented, “We’re thrilled that Dakota has chosen to become a part of the Warriors. Dakota possesses the potential to be a game-changing top-six forward, and his combination of size and strong skating skills will undoubtedly enhance our team.”

Dakota MacIntosh has been off to a remarkable start this season with the Blackfalds Bulldogs in the Alberta Junior Hockey League. Standing at an impressive six-foot-two and weighing 190 pounds, this forward has showcased his prowess by tallying 19 goals and 34 points in just 17 games, leading the AJHL in both categories.

What’s more, MacIntosh is currently on an impressive goal-scoring spree, having netted goals in nine consecutive games, amassing a total of 17 goals during this remarkable stretch. He has also maintained a 12-game point streak with 30 points.

Ripplinger took a moment to extend gratitude to Blackfalds for their cooperation in facilitating MacIntosh’s transition to the Warriors.

In the previous season, while playing for the Alberni Valley Bulldogs in the British Columbia Hockey League, MacIntosh displayed his skills by recording 17 goals and 38 points in 31 games. During the playoffs, he continued to shine, contributing 11 goals and 24 points in 19 games, making him the third-highest scorer in the postseason. His efforts played a crucial role in helping the Bulldogs reach the BCHL Championship final.

MacIntosh’s journey with the Warriors began when he was originally drafted in the ninth round, 192nd overall, during the 2019 WHL Prospects Draft.

Fans can look forward to seeing Dakota MacIntosh in action as he is set to join the Warriors on their two-game road trip in Alberta this weekend, with his debut scheduled for Friday night in Edmonton.
