Last time the rebels played Kelowna they trounced them 4-1 in Red Deer last season. This go around in Kelowna they beat them 3-1.
This also marks Elias Carmichael’s first return to Kelowna since being traded to Red Deer in the off season.
At 1: 15 into the game Matteo Fabrizi and Max Graham got into a tilt after Graham hit Jhett Larson. Graham is no small guy by any means at 6’3 180 but Fabrizi has a few inches on him and weighs a few more skids of bricks than Graham. Good tilt.

Seattle Kraken 2023 Third Rounder Caden Price tied it up for the Rockets with assists on the goal going to Vancouver native Andrew Cristall at 12:41 of the first period.– The Rockets pulled even just over seven minutes later when promising Washington Capitals prospect Andrew Cristall fed Caden Price in the low slot and the third year Kelowna defenceman beat Rhett Stoesser with a high shot.

Kai Uchacz scored on the PP to give the Rebels a 2-1 lead with the assists to Jhett Larson and Carson Birnie at 17:06 of the second period.-The Rebels got the eventual winner off the stick of Uchacz during a late second period power play. The puck squirted through the crease and Uchacz moved down from the left circle and fired it home for his 10th goal of the season extending his goal scoring streak to four games.

1:24 into the third period Carson Latimer scored from Mats Lindgren and Jhett Larson on the PP to make it 3-1 Rebels.– Latimer found the back of the net with a wrister from the top of the right circle.
Rockets outshot the Rebels 10 to 6 in the third period of play. The Rebels outshot the Rockets 39-27 in the game
Rhett Stoesser stopped 26 of the 27 shots he faced for the win. While Jake Pilon stopped 36 of the 39 shots he faced for the Rockets. The Rockets also called up Goaltender 16 year old Burnaby, BC native Nathan Kam from the Yale Bulldogs in the CSSHL U18. Kam was a 5th round selection of the Kelowna Rockets in the 2022 Bantam Draft.
