The Blackfalds Bulldogs and Drumheller Dragons faced off in a very important game two of their series, with Drumheller looking to take a 2-0 lead and Blackfalds hoping to split the series. Otto Hanson scored early in the first period to give Blackfalds their first lead of the series, but Vann Yuhas tied it up for Drumheller in the second period. Drumheller took the lead on a power play goal by Adam Raesler in the third period, but Brett Meerman tied it up for Blackfalds shortly after. Jacob Goudreau put Drumheller ahead again, but Connor Dick tied it up for Blackfalds with just over three minutes left in the third period. Tanner Willick scored the game-winning goal in overtime to give Blackfalds a 4-3 win and tie the series 1-1. Games three and four will be played in Drumheller.
Otto Hanson opened up the scoring getting his first of the post season unassisted at 15:43. Making it a 1-0 game and totally making everyone forget about the penalty he previously took that he shouldn’t of😉 At 3:59 Bulldogs Tyler Wallace (who is the leagues leading goal scorer) was ejected from the game for hitting from behind. I didn’t really see it. But this is common with Dragon players the last few years. They like to turn. Makes you wonder 🤔 Vann Yuhas scored on a strange bounce which was his second of the playoffs at 18:24 of the second period. Assists to Coy Pighin and Ty Daneault.
Adam Raesler made it a 2-1 game for the Dragons at 3:34 of the third period on the power play. It would of almost made you think that Raesler was part of the make-a-wish fund for kids. As there was no effort what so ever to stop him by anyone. It is like they let him have the goal out of pity. Assists on Raesler’s goal to Dylan Glinski and Cyle Clayton. Brett Meerman tied the game up at 9:49 of the third period scoring his 3rd of the post season assisted by David Brandes.
Jacob Goudreau gave the Dragons the lead at 12:37 of the third period making it 3-2 Drumheller. Assists on the Goudreau goal to Cyle Clayton and Connor Poffenroth. Connor Dick tied the game up with under 4 minutes remaining from beautiful pass by Layne Loomer. The other assist went to Jayden Joly. Thats Dick’s third of the playoffs.
In overtime the Dragons Will Christian got a hooking penalty. It was a penalty. I personally wouldn’t of called it, and am more shocked the refs did but they kicked Wallace out for lord knows what and hand out stupid 4 minute penalties for nothing Its just karma the Dragons have had horse shoes up their ass all night time to stop. Overtime Tanner Willick scored from Brett Meerman on the powerplay at 7:54.

I don’t know if I should laugh at this or what. I remember once when I was 12 I turned around and did this to a ref and got suspended. I mean the stick may of been a little lower and appeared to be between my legs but we get the point. The kid is smiling he gets the point. Do you get the point?🤔🤣😉
Okotoks beat the Brooks B Bandits to even up their series at a game each. Bonnyville beat Whitecourt 3-0 to take a 2-0 series lead. The Spruce Grove Saints beat the Sherwood Park Crusaders 3-1.
Another thing for fans that decide to park on the street. The parking does suck at the arena but getting your vehicle keyed would suck even more. I seen a guy walking down Lansdowne Avenue after the game saying if this occurs next Friday ect (his driveway being blocked) he will key the vehicles he is sick of giving warnings.
