In yesterday’s BCHL game on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, the Blackfalds Bulldogs decisively defeated the Okotoks Oilers with a 5-0 shutout at the Viking Rentals Centre. This “Minds Matter” school day game, attended by 1,770 students and fans, saw the Bulldogs extend their winning streak to five games.
Duncan Thompson led the offensive charge with two goals, scoring late in the first period and early in the second.
Nikita Ivashchenko also netted a pair of goals, including a cross-crease tip in the third period to seal the 5-0 lead.

Oliver Kiraly stopped all 18 shots that he faced for the win and his 4th shutout of the season. For the Oilers Slovakian Patrik Kliment stopped 33 of the 38 shots that he faced.
