Bulldogs lost a close one again to Garrett Fuller and his friends Wednesday night in Drumheller. Bob Saget was in that show I think. What Dragon would be Bob Saget 🤔
At 11:59 of the first period Caleb Willms opened up the scoring for the Dragons. From Will Christian and Tate Yule. The Dragons made it a 2-0 game with 7 seconds left in the first period when Ty Daneault got his 8th goal of the post season from Coy Pighin and Vann Yuhas.
The Dragons took a 3-0 lead 4:19 into the second period when Vann Yuhas scored his third of the playoffs from Ty Daneault.
Bulldogs finally got on the board when Connor Dick scored his 4th of the playoffs from Jake Geraci at 7:37. That goal made it a 3-1 game which was short lived as less than 2 minutes later Drumheller responded with Ryan Henderson scoring making it a 4-1 game at 9:01 of the second period. The Bulldogs outshot Dragons 17-11 in the second period.
At 4:20 of the third period Kurt Gurkan narrowed the game to 4-2 on a goal with assists from Evan Mitchell and Kasey Hiemstra.
Then just over 2 minutes later Evan Mitchell made it 4-3 from the point at 6:35 of the third period with assists to Jack Plandowski and Tanner Willick.
Maybe I complain about it too much but the Bulldogs pulled their goalie too early again. And the same thing happened that happened last night happened AGAIN. Dragons scored. Vann Yuhas got an empty net goal with 1:03 remaining to seal the game.

I do not know what booze and or drugs the three star committee was on. They picked 1) Vann Yuhas 2) Ty Daneault and 3) Evan Mitchell. Who all did have good games. They could have a star limit of how many they give out. Any person that watched the game even for a bit knew the stars were 1) Garrett Fuller 2) Garrett Fuller 3) Garret Fuller. Drum is a good team but lets be real and no offence to the players they might not of got past Canmore if not for Garrett Fuller.
I am not sure if Garrett Fuller has committed to any school yet or in the works but I would be shocked if a big school didn’t pick him up after or during the playoffs. I am not sure on the education requirements but all that kid would have to be able to do is print his name and tie his shoes and he’d get in. Have you seen some of those kids that attend those schools in the states on tv with the nose rings and the purple hair and such.
Have to say I do like how ZZ Tops there in Drumheller calls the games him and his partner do a great job. Only down fall is there is no replays when the games are on. Get someone from the prison to jack you guys a jumbotron not from Blackfalds though, Brooks seems to have a nice one.
