Thats going to be a long 5 and a half hour bus ride home. Scoring only 1 goal all weekend also isn’t going to win games. Sometimes things just happen. Or things don’t happen so nothing happened.
The Ref gave Luke Dahlen a penalty for shooting the puck after the whistle. The ref needs to learn to blow the whistle louder. Get in better shape and lose his gut so he can save his breath to blow the whistle. Horse 💩 penalty for someone to lazy to bend over and pick up the puck, we get it. That laziness of tubby led to this goal.
AJHL October Player of the Month Tomis Marinkovic scored a nice goal for the Storm on the Power Play at 12:32 of the opening period. With the assists to Thunder Bay, Ontario Alex Atwill and former Calgary Canuck Matthew Strilets.
The Storm crew does the kids cam during the whistle breaks. With kids dancing in the crowd and what not its actually pretty neat and looks like the kids are loving it. The people who run the games in Blackfalds do a great job, but in all reality no one wants the kiss cam. What if you’re with your sister ect crap like that. Just a suggestion or do an update on the game the kids are having in the mini arena. No one wants to see the preview of a senior citizen romance novel. lol.
Tanner Willick scores for the Bulldogs to make it 1-1 at 17:08 of the first period unassisted. Shots in the opening period was 10-8 for the Bulldogs. Bulldogs hadn’t scored in so long a goal is like a new discovery.
OOPS. Tomis Marinkovic scores his second goal of the game shorthanded to make it a 2-1 Storm game at 9:26 of the second period.
Thunder Bay, Ontario native 20 year old Alex Atwill scored his 13th goal of the season at 13:13 of the period to give the Storm a 3-1 lead. Assists on the goal to Marinkovic and Stouffville, Ontario native Marcello Giorgi.
Kody Willick got a 🐎💩 call which gives the storm the pp. I don’t know exactly what for I don’t think the ref knew either he seemed more like he was thinking about what kind of wings he was going to order from Better Than Fred’s across the street after the game.

🐎💩 call on Dimitritatis. Some of these Storm players need to learn how stand on skates. I shouldn’t be rude and jump to conclusions. There are programs that can be take like Power Skating that could prevent players from falling when a gust of wind comes.
Another 💩 call this time on Patterson, who did nothing and I mean nothing. What a joke🤷♂️
The Bulldogs pulled their goalie with about 2 minutes remaining and Tomis Marinkovic nets the hat trick on the empty net with 30 seconds remaining in the game. Assists on the goal went to Alex Atwill and goalie Nicholas Jones.
The Storm outshot the Bulldogs 21-19
Nicholas Jones stopped 18 of the 19 shots that he faced for the win. While Wilson Maxfield stopped 17 of the 20 shots for the Bulldogs.
Three Stars I couldn’t find online but if I lived in GP and watched the Storm I would of picked 1) Marinkovic 2) Atwill and if I didn’t give it to the honorary captain kid I’d say Strilets or Simpson for the third one.
