Okotoks always seems to have a lot of guys sitting out with injuries or what not when the Bulldogs play them. Even last year they always seemed to have a line of guys sitting out.
Jagger Tapper scored his 10th goal of the season on a deflection to make it a 1-0 game at 9:44 of the opening frame. With assists on the goal to New Jersey native Sam Hall and 17 year old Taber, Alberta native Kade Duell on the Power Play.
Former Brooks Bandit Ethan O’Halloran made it 2-0 at 17:31 of the first period with the assist going to Greg Louganis clone Sam Huck. Ethan Morrow had absolutely no chance at stopping that one.

Shots on goal in the second period were 13-9 Bulldogs
Jayden Joly tied the game up with his 8th goal of the season at 5:44 of the third period with the assist going to Brendan Gillmore.
The Bulldogs got a too many men penalty with about 7 minutes left in the game, which is tied. I would be kicked off my beer league team if I made stupid line changes like this, or at the very least cut off. It isn’t something that happens once in a blue moon either it is almost an occurrence in every game. How? I am not sure they may need to watch Count Dracula.
Shots in the third period were 12-9 Okotoks. The game is going to 3 on 3 overtime, well actually 4 on 3 for the Oilers as the Bulldogs got a penalty.
Beautiful dive by Sam Huck in overtime. I mean failed thespians such as Paris Hilton and Jean Claude Van Dame could of acted it better but the ref bought it. Next to just going up to the ref and asking him to give your team a power play (which they may of done) this was the way they felt like playing.
I should not make fun of this. Falling is a serious issue. If this guy falls this easily he may need to be sized for a helmet at all times when walking even. He is not only a danger to himself but to others if he falls this easy. Windy days could be a nightmare he could blow away. It also would of been nice if the camera got him laughing when the penalty was called. Almost laughing at how it seemed like he believed the refs were so stupid to call that.
Sam Huck scored in overtime from Brett Huxley to win the game.
Overtime shots were 4-0 Oilers. The Oilers outshot the Bulldogs in the game 35-29.
Both goalies played great games. Alexander Scheiwiller stopped 26 of the 29 shots that he faced for the win. Ethan Morrow stopped 31 of the 35 shots that he faced.
Tonight’s four stars of the game were 1) Jesse Wood-Shatz 2) Kaydin Knutson 3) Matthew Benn 4) Jacob Hicks
Attendance at tonight’s game in Blackfalds was 696.
Bulldogs next game is Saturday November 18th against the Oilers in Okotoks. They are then on the road Tuesday and Wednesday in North Eastern Alberta against Bonnyville and Fort McMurray. Their next home game is Saturday November 25th against the Spruce Grove Saints.
The Bulldogs have added 2 new players to their roster. D man Trent LeDrew from Windsor, Ontario and forward Cody Pisarczyk from Airdrie.
Layne Loomer has committed to Penn State. I thought at one point he was committed to Augustana. Makes sense the kid has been a beast this season. As hard as it is to say the better he keeps playing the more it also looks like it may be his final season in Blackfalds.
Bulldog Alumni Tyler Wallace scored his first NCAA goal against Robert Morris University Friday night.
Dakota MacIntosh had a 3 point night with the Moose Jaw Warriors last Tuesday night in their win against the Saskatoon Blades. He was also Second Star of the game.
