By the sound of it there is a storm outside in Truro the weather station say windy and rainy on Truro. Canada East ended up beating West 5-2

YOU CANT DO THAT PICKEL.

Former Erie Otter and current Toronto Patriot Dylan Edwards scores from the point to make it 1-0 Canada East on the Power Play. Assists on the goal to Cornwall Colt Etienne Lessard and Coburg Cougar Trevor Hoskin.

Come on Pickel what are you doing!!!!! Ben Pickell got a 2 minute penalty for knocking the stick out of Hicks hands. I am never going to forget the name Ben Pickell now. Especially when shorthanded what was Pickle thinking. Ben Pickell is a former Barrie Colt who now plays in the OJHL with the Pickering Panthers and was team mates with Alexander Dimitriadis last season.

Brooks Bandit Dylan Compton scored on the Power Play to tie up the game with 25 seconds left in the first period. With the assists going to Nathan Free and Okotoks Oiler Rylan Brown. The TV said Loomer scored it the internet said Loomer did. My eyes are bad but that was Compton. They finally changed it. Loomer was right there whacking away at with Compton though.

Shots on goal in the first period were Canada West 9 to Canada East 7.

Canada East makes it 2-1 at 11:42 of the second period when Jack Rimmer from the Collingwood Blues of the OJHL scored. Rimmer is one of the few players on Canada East who has not played Major Junior. Assists on the goal went to Ben Lalkin of the Markham Royals and Cameron Eke from the Collingwood Blues.

Canada East replied again when Dylan Edwards got his second goal of the game and made it 3-1 East at 18:54 with the assist going to Niagara commit Andy Reist.

Canada West outshot Canada East in the middle frame 14-12.

At 17:15 of the third period Taeo Artichuk from the Trenton Golden Eagles of the OJHL scores and makes it 4-1 with the assist going to Dylan Edwards.

Ryan Zaremba scored to cut the lead to only 4-2 at 15:28 of the second. I am not sure if he meant to bank it off the d mans skates or it was an accident. Either way its a goal. Assits on the goal went to Okotoks Oiler Jack Silverberg.

Canada pulled the goal with 3 and a half minutes remaining. No that is not a misprint 3 and a half minutes.

Of course the East scored. Or did they?

I actually said when the refs went to a circle quit bitching. Its done. But the replay showed it was off side. I would of never thought especially with an empty net goal who goes off side. I was starting to think since there are a few Okotoks Oilers on this team they can bring one of those story book fluke wins with them to this.

Trevor Hoskin eventually draped the puck into the empty net to seal the deal and make the game 5-2 for Canada East with the assist go Taeo Artichuk at 19:15

Shots on goal in the final period were 12-9 for the West. So the West outshot the East in every period. The shot total in the game was 35 for the West to the 28 for the East.

Smith Falls Bears goalie Dawson Labre made 33 saves on the 35 shots that he faced for the win for the East. While Brooks Bandit Johnny Hicks made 23 saves on the 27 shots that he faced for the West.

Player of the game guesses before announced I am picking Ryan Zaremba for West. For the East Dylan Edwards. Zaremba was for the West and Edwards for East.

Canada West’s next game is Wednesday December 13th against Slovakia at 12:30PM.
