On Wednesday night at Co-op Place, the Medicine Hat Tigers secured a 3-0 victory over the Red Deer Rebels, thanks to the outstanding performance of their newly acquired goaltender, Harrison Meneghin. Meneghin’s stellar goaltending not only halted the Tigers’ four-game losing streak but also marked their first win against the Rebels in their fourth encounter this season.

Andrew Basha gets the Tigers on the board at exactly the 10 minute mark of the second period to make it a 1-0 game. The assists on the goal went to Hayden Harsanyi and Ryder Ritchie.

Edmonton native Matt Paranych scored for the Tigers to make it 2-0 at 12:35 of the third period. The assists on the goal went to Gavin McKenna and Tigers captain Oasiz Wiesblatt.
Rookie Markus Ruck puts one into the empty net to make it a 3-0 Tigers game at 18:11 of the third period with the helpers going to Kadon McCann and Oasiz Wiesblatt.
Shots on goal in the third period were 10-8 for the Tigers with the Tigers outshooting the Rebels 30-24 in the game.
Newly acquired Harrison Meneghin stopped all of the 24 shots that he faced for the Tigers to earn a shutout his 5th of his WHL career. For the Rebels Chase Wutzke stopped 27 of the 29 shots that he faced.
