Two of the new players were sick. With what who knows? Limited details were gossiped. Probably just the flu going around. So it was very impressive watching the Bulldogs play well with a short bench.
Luke Dahlen opened up the scoring for the Bulldogs at 7:01 of the first period with the assists on the goal going to Gates Omicioli and Thomas Neu. Thats Dahlen’s 5th goal of the season

Captain Jackson Rowland scored for the Oilers on the Power Play to tie the game up at 1 at 16:53 of the second frame. The assists on the goal went to Coy Pighin and Brock Souch.
Luke Dahlen got his second goal of the game at 19:05 of the second period to give the Bulldogs the lead. The helpers on the goal went to Matthew Ronn and Luke Norcorss.

Cyle Clayton tied the game up for the Oilers at 11:09 of the third period. The assists on the goal went to Hunter Sawka and Brock Souch. I am not sure still if that first name is pronounced as Kyle or Shyle or what I am confused.

Kade Duell scored the winner for the Oilers in overtime at 2:06 with the assists on the goal going to Bowen Burke and Jackson Rowland.
Shots on goal in Overtime were 4-0 for the Oilers with the Oilers outshooting the Bulldogs 55-37 in the game. That shot count seems higher than it actually was and alot in the arena were rumbling about it. Nothing against the goalies they both played fantastic though that just seems alot higher than it really was.
Olivier Ciarlo made 35 saves on the 37 shots that he faced for the win for the Oilers. For the Bulldogs Kirill Kapustin made 52 saves on the 55 shots that he faced.
