Due to a power outage at the Abbotsford arena where an AHL team plays there was a power outage. The game was not on Flo TV but it was broadcasted on the radio. I just posted the game box here. The Bulldogs outshot the Express 34-25. Carson Mertz made 24 saves on the 25 shots that he faced for the win for the Bulldogs. For the Express former Trail Smoke Eaters goalie Ryan Parker 31 saves on the 34 shots that he faced before being replaced half way through the third period after the 4th goal and replaced by Mithcell Pearce who stopped all 3 shots that he faced. The Three stars of the game were 1) Matthew Croxall 2) Thomas Neu 3) Carson Mertz. The Bulldogs next game is in Okotoks on October 17th against the Oilers. Then back at home on Saturday the 18th to play them again.
