No away feed option for the Bulldogs on this game at the start so I listened to the the Okotoks Oilers guys do it. Minus falling asleep and letting the Oilers score 3 goals they didn’t deserve early in the second period, the Bulldogs played a great game. Defeating the Okotoks Oilers 7-4 in Okotoks Friday night.

Gabe Smith was ejected for a hit from behind along with a 5 minute major late in the first period.

Shots on goal in the first period were 11-8 Bulldogs

Oilers make it 1-0 on a goal that is getting reviewed for goalie interference. But it was a goal at the very end of the Power Play. The goal went to 20 year old Huntington, New York native Luke Calabria unassisted at 1:13 of the second period.

Richmond, BC Jamie Hikida makes it 2-0 on a bad change by the Bulldogs at 3:11 of the second period. The assists on the goal went to Chicago, Illinois native Michael Kowalski and Luke Calabria.

The Bulldogs just seemed to literally give up and not try and let the Oilers make it 3-0 when Former Brooks Bandit Josh Weibe got his third goal of the season at 4:11 of the first period. The assists on the goal went to Odense, Denmark native Markus Jacobsen and Buffalo, New York native Joseph Gugino. It really looked like a whole new Bulldogs team of guys that never played hockey before when they came out after the first period. They did however regain their form and play like normal shortly after the Oilers third goal though.

Dean Toskos then finally scored for the Bulldogs on the Power Play at 5:59 of the second period. The assists on the goal went to Danny Hussa and Nikita Mescheryakov. It was originally said that Hussa got the goal but you can see Toskos tip it in the front there. Either way the Bulldogs awoke and started a great comeback.

Luke Dahlen then gets the Bulldogs within one on the Power Play at 9:05 of the second period. The assists on that goal went to Noah Mertz and Thomas Neu. The goal was basically tic-tac-toe off the face off.

It appeared as if Dahlen scored and there is claim the net was off. They went upstairs to review. Its a good goal. That goal tied the game at 19:17 of the second period. The assist on the goal went to Joey Melo. It got reviewed as you can clearly see in the replay the goalie intentionally try to lodge off of its net himself. I expect this snake crap from Brooks. Come on do better, be a better person🤣🤣🤣

Luke Dahlen gets a hat trick and makes it a 4-3 game for the Bulldogs after finishing off on a 2 on 1 with Danny Hussa at 6:48 of the third period.
