Sidney Cosby makes it 4-0 for the Canadians scoring the second empty net goal at 18:41 of the third period. The assists on the goal went to Dylan Cozens and Darnell Nurse.

Shots on goal in the third period were 10-9 for the Canadians. The Canadians outshot the Americans 38-34 in the game.

Jet Greaves stopped all 34 shots he faced for the shutout win for Canada. For the Americans Calgary Flame Devin Cooley stopped 34 of the 36 shots that he faced.
