On a night where Albertans got a warning about their power grid use, its a good thing the Town of Blackfalds kept the Christmas lights on at the Splash Park. Some of us like taking the family out to the water park at 7pm in January when its -40 so you never know.

Heard a commercial on the TV about the Wyndham Hotel. Which is a beautiful hotel I have never stayed there but looks great and the people I have met that have stayed there all say nice things about it. I am wondering however where this Blackfalds shopping district the hotel is next to that they speak of in the commercial. Unless they mean the liquor and weed stores located beside it.

The Dragons traded Aidan Larose to Lloydminster for the third leading scorer in the league Dalton MacGillivray. It appears MacGillivray had other plans and opted to go to the BCHL’s Langley Rivermen. No word on where Larose ended up yet he is still on elite prospects as a Dragon.
