The Rebels beat the Hitmen 2-1 in what was their 5th game since Tuesday on Saturday night. It also marks the first game and first win for coach Dave Struch.

Oliver Tulk the Hitmen’s leading scorer ties the game up for the Hitmen at 6:28 of the third period to make it a 1-1 game unassisted.–Oliver Tulk tied the score up for the visitors early in the third period, jumping on a loose puck between the circles and wiring a wrist shot past netminder Rhett Stoesser.
Talon Brigley scored the game winner with 30 seconds left in the game. The assist on the goal went to Jace Weir.–The Rebels left it until near the end Saturday, getting the winning goal from Talon Brigley with 30 seconds remaining. The veteran forward, low in the left circle, hauled in a pass from Jace Weir at the right point and beat Ethan Buenaventura before the Calgary netminder could move across to block the shot.
Shots on goal in the third period were 15-11 for the Rebels. The Hitmen outshot the Rebels 35 to 34 in the game.
Rhett Stoesser made 34 saves on the 35 shots that he faced for the win for the Rebels. Ethan Buenaventura made 32 saves on the 34 shots that he faced for the Hitmen.
