The Bulldogs fell to the Bucks in an entertaining contest last night 5-2.
Cranbrook opened up the scoring at 11:35 of the first period when Rhode Island native Patrick Murphy got his 13th goal of the season with a quick shot from the hash marks. The assists on the goal went to Air Force commit Grant Denuccio and Decker, Manitoba native Jordan Murray.
Shots on goal in the first period were tied at 8 each.
Shane Baker makes it 2-0 for the Bucks at 6:44 of the second frame with the assists on the goal going to Grant Denuccio and Patrick Murphy.

The Bulldogs were putting great pressure on the Bucks in their zone. Then decided to get a penalty for too many men on the ice because apparently they can’t count to 5. Usually that would be a concern but those NCAA schools in the states have very low requirement standards the last few years. All you have to do now is identify as someone who gets good grades or dye your hair pink to get in. So yeah the Bucks took full advantage of their PP to make it 3-0. Kaslo Ferner got his 17th of the season from Jacob Fletcher and Bryce Sookro at 12:11.

Jared Langdon scored with 26 seconds left in the second period to make it a 3-1 game with the assists going to Danny Hussa and Alex Bosland.
Shots on goal in the second period were 16-7 for Cranbrook

Danny Hussa gets the Bulldogs within one at 7:29 of the third period with the assist on the goal going to Luke Norcross. Hussa has a point a game since he has joined the Bulldogs.
Rasmus Svartstrom makes it 4-2 at 13:43 of the third period with his 30th goal of the season. The assists on the goal went to Jacob Fletcher and Kamloops, BC native Nic Leggett.
Bucks score into the empty net with 12.7 seconds left to make it a 5-2 Bucks game. The goal went to Kaslo Ferner shorthanded and unassisted.

Shots on goal in the third period were tied at 10 each. The Bucks outshot the Bulldogs 34-25 in the game.
Gloucester, Ontario native Jaden Cholette made 23 saves on the 25 shots that he faced for the win for the Bucks. For the Bulldogs Slovak Lukas Fursten made 29 saves on the 33 shots that he faced.
Three Stars of the game were done differently by a lot of sources so I am going with 1) Grant Denuccio 2) Kaslo Ferner 3) Danny Hussa
Attendance in Cranbrook was 1790
Bulldogs next game is Saturday February 8th in Brooks against the Bandits.
