I figured it could happen, Ollie Josephson the captain of the Rebels is off to NCAA North Dakota next season. Good thing that the Rebels are full of stay at home d men. Keep drafting and acquiring D considering they were the second lowest scoring team in the league last season.🙄I wouldn’t be shocked if Wutzke bailed eventually either.
His high-energy style and defensive responsibility make him a valuable addition as a 200-foot player. NHL scouts have praised his skating ability and decision-making, indicating he will make an immediate impact at the college level. As one of only 20 forwards selected for Hockey Canada’s World Junior Summer Showcase, Josephson is expected to contribute significantly to the Fighting Hawks’ pursuit of success.
Talon Brigley the new captain?🤔 As of this post the Rebels have yet to comment on the departure. Kind of feel bad now for laughing at the other teams losing guys🤣
Big news for UND hockey fans! With the fall semester just around the corner, the Fighting Hawks have secured a major commitment from Ollie Josephson, a talented forward and Seattle Kraken fourth-round pick. The 6-foot, 188-pound Victoria, B.C. native, who captained the Red Deer Rebels in the WHL last season, racked up 14 goals and 35 points in 48 games. Fresh off showcasing his skills at Canada’s World Junior Summer Showcase, Josephson visited UND and gave his verbal commitment to join the team this season. He’s the first Kraken draft pick to suit up for the Hawks and will bolster a strong freshman class alongside WHL standouts Cole Reschny, Josh Zakreski, and Keaton Verhoeff. With classes starting in just 17 days, Josephson’s arrival is a game-changer for UND’s forward lineup! LINK
