The Bulldogs dropped their third game in a row Friday night losing to the West Kelowna Warriors 2-1 in a game that could of easily been 20-1 had it not been for Waylon Esche. Again. The Bulldogs have so much skill but so little gets done.
Kelsen Podworny shovels in some garbage to make it a 1-0 game for the Warriors at 9:47 of the first period. The assists on the goal to 6’5 Calgary native Caden Kemkaren-Humble and 17 year old Logan Flint. That goal is Podworny’s first in the BCHL.
Shots on goal in the first period were 15-5. If I recall 2 of those shots were on a scramble really late in the period. So really the Bulldogs only got off 3 shots that period. It was very hard to watch.
Lucas McDonald scored his first BCHL goal at 12:39 of the second period with the assists going to Alexander Dimitriadis and Jack McAra.
Kelsen Podworny got his second goal of the night to make it a 2-0 Warriors game at 15:09 of the second period. The assists on the goal went to Logan Flint and 20 year old Woodbury, Minnesota native Simon Houge.
Shots in second period were 8-6 for the Warriors
Shots in third period were 8-7 for the Bulldogs with the Warriors outshooting the Bulldogs 30-19 in the game.
Dawson Labre who is committed to Ohio State made 18 saves on the 19 shots that he faced for the win for the Warriors. For the Bulldogs Waylon Esche made 28 saves on the 30 shots that he faced.

The Bulldogs added 2 new players last game. Jonathan Pylypuik a 2006 born forward from Sylvania, Ohio. Pylypuik joins the Bulldogs from the Oshawa Generals of the OHL. They also added Swedish Defenceman Oscar Bjork. Nayan Pai seems to no longer be on the roster.
