On Saturday, the Bulldogs took care of business on home ice via a four-goal second period beating the Okotoks Oilers 4-2. The Video quality of the highlights seemed very crappy this time around.

Buffalo, New York native Joseph Gugino got the Oilers on the board at 4:49 of the first period with the assist on the goal going to Michael Kowalski.

Shots on goal in the first period were 8-3 for the Bulldogs

Nicholas DiPaolo tied the game up for the Bulldogs at 2:04 of the second period. The assists on the goal went to Danny Hussa and Radoslav Dimitrov.

Hunter Sawka regained the lead for the Oilers on the Power Play at 7:25 of the second period. The assists went to Markus Jakobsen and Edina, Minnesota native and Harvard commit Michael Mikin.

Nikita Ivashchenko makes it a 2-2 game at 11:46 of the second period. The assists on the goal went to Matthew Croxall and Thomas Neu.

Nicholas DiPaolo gave the Bulldogs a 3-2 lead at 14:00 of the second period with the assists on the goal going to Dean Toskos and Nikita Mescheryakov.

Jared Langdon made it a 4-2 game at 19:15 of the second period. The assists on the goal went to Matthew Croxall and Noah Mertz.

Shots on goal in the second period were tied at 9 apiece.

Shots on goal in the third period were 11-10 for the Bulldogs. The Bulldogs outshot the Oilers 29-22 in the game

For the Bulldogs Oliver Kiraly made 20 saves on the 22 shots that he faced for the win. For the Oilers Mill Bay, BC native Eric Young stopped 25 of the 29 shots that he faced

Bulldogs next game is Friday October 24th in Trail against the Smoke Eaters, Then the next night they are in Cranbrook to play the Bucks.
