This is the biggest game of the year for the Rebels. In the opening minute of last game, Saskatoon scored and maintained a lead throughout, ultimately clinching a 5-3 victory to even the series. Red Deer’s Jace Isley contributed two goals to the scoreboard, while Kai Uchacz extended his recent scoring streak with his fifth goal in three games. Despite outshooting Saskatoon 38-23, Red Deer failed to capitalize on four power play opportunities, while Saskatoon successfully converted one of their six power play opportunities.

Hunter Mayo opens up the scoring for the Rebels at 12:10 of the first period with assists to Kalan Lind and Jayden Grubbe.

Dallas Stars prospect Conner Roulette makes it 1-1 unassisted at 14:45 of the first period. Thats Roulette’s second goal of the playoffs.

Shots were 11 each at the end of the first period.

Spencer Shugrue makes it 2-1 at 5:41 of the second period from Conner Roulette.

Ryker Singer ties it up at 7:35 of the second period from Jace Isley and Jace Weir.

Spencer Shugrue makes it 3-2 at 4:29 of the third period with the assist to Jayden Wiens. Spencer Shugrue has had 3 WHL goals in 125 regular season games in his career. He has the same amount of goals now in just 14 playoff games🤔

Conner Roulette makes it 4-2 after Kalan Lind shattered his stick with assists on his goal to Egor Sidorov and Aidan De La Gorgendiere at 5:09.

Vaughn Watterodt scored on the empty net to end the season for the Rebels.

Rebels season is done. The Saskatoon Blades advanced to the Eastern Conference finals for the first time since 1994.
